The beauty of an intricate mosaic resides not in any one of its thousand stones but arises from their unique combination.  Likewise, the beauty and power of a wedding resides not just in one moment but in the thousand tiny moments that make up this singular event.

To tell this story, I unobtrusively capture a wedding’s myriad moments of intimacy and unstaged joy, the endless tiny details and sweeping vistas of the event.  To be flexible, responsive and sensitive, ever-present but never intrusive: these are the hallmarks of my approach to photography.

Just as important as technical skills is the photographer’s deep appreciation for the astonishing grace and gravity that are found at the heart of every wedding. To make that grace visible, to safeguard it through photography’s light and shadow and color, is the joy, and the honor, of my work.
