Here he is. He just turned six and could not be better at loving, and being loved. Thank you, Lenny Gonzalez, for these photographs that melt my heart.
Vroom, vroom! Our brides and grooms have been really clever at coming up with unique ways to transport themselves to and from wedding day affairs. Suzy loves to get shots of her couples in the car as well as it serves as a fun moment for everyone and a candid photography style comes through.
These couples loved their transportation so much that Suzy found a way to create a candid moment out of it. The old car in the country grass makes this wedding feel like it is in an English countryside. With retro and vintage flares, a car can add that final touch, and we love how our clients embraced the moment.
These are some of our favorite transportation ideas and photography from our clients that we hope inspires you on your wedding day.
Now that we’ve survived Turkey season and are hitting up the gym for a post-stuffing workout, we thought it would be fun to feature some cocktail hour drinks. The clinking of glasses can be heard throughout an entire wedding day and it is one of the happiest sounds. Guests are celebrating your day, a special moment, and honoring your union. What better way to begin the celebration than with cocktail hour?
The selected type of beverage for cocktail hour can tell a variety of stories. Who the couple is, what their style is, if they have a signature cocktail, and also add a discussion point for guests. The glasses used to serve beverages can be as personalized as one likes them and serve any kind of bubbling, fizzy delight.
A wedding isn’t a wedding without some champagne bubbly as well. How gorgeous are these champagne glasses filled with a variety of sparkling choices for guests?
Fresh lemonade, cider, and fruity drinks are also equally popular for a wedding cocktail hour. Some clients have chosen to have self-serve areas for such cocktails and have turned even the serving dispenser into a clever detail.
Thirsty, anyone? These beverages look fresh, crisp, and refreshing. We hope you enjoy planning your wedding cocktail hour and that these beverages might inspire you!
Boutonnieres are to men what shoes and accessories are to women: a personalized piece of fashion decor to wear. We love seeing our grooms not only put on their best threads for their special day but to accent their suits or tuxedo’s with a boutonniere pin that sums up their style best! Here are some inspiration and ideas for a groom’s floral accessories.
I’m so pleased to be teaming with talented wedding photography titans Meg Smith and Lisa Lefkowitz to present a one-of-a-kind workshop this summer, featuring decor design by the incredible Kristi Amoroso and sponsored by Richard Photo Lab, Cypress Fine Albums, California Brides magazine, and Snippet & Ink!
We recently got together to scout, strategize and plan for the workshop, and WOW. I mean WOW. It is gorgeous. It’s really going to be a spectacular setting, and we’ll be making the most of it.
It’s not easy to make the stars align for all THREE of us, plus Kristi, to come together for something like this, and honestly, this might be the only time we manage it… so if you would like to spend a couple of days learning about shooting techniques, marketing and PR strategies, exchanging ideas with like-minded artists, shooting beautiful wedding-inspired set-ups, and simply relishing the incredibly gorgeous wine country estate setting… then register today! There are only a handful of spots left!
