The ocean’s my thing.  I love being near, on, or in the the ocean.  (No surprise that I live on an island in a bay just a few miles from the Pacific.)  But I spent a couple days in the redwoods recently, and I was really feeling the forest love.  So for my 12th anniversary, what I really wanted to do was hike in the redwoods with my man.  It’s so nice that sometimes, you get exactly what you want.
