Based in the Bay Area since 1997, studio partner Julie Caine is a commercial photographer and photojournalist who has been documenting weddings for the past five years.   She began shooting weddings at the request of friends and became fascinated with the visual storytelling involved in depicting a wedding.   The artistic challenge of reflecting the unique beauty, energy, and emotion of each couple's wedding is a continued inspiration.

In addition to the weddings she has shot solo, for the past five years Julie has gained invaluable experience shooting alongside Suzy at countless events.  She embodies the philosophy and working style of the Studio, and her training has cultivated an inherent sense of how the day flows as well as the ability to work unobtrusively yet effectively.

Julie is a born storyteller whose experience includes radio production and photo documentary projects in Cost Rica, San Francisco and her native Kansas.  She also has extensive experience in the world of commercial photography, with clients such as Gap and Ebay.
